Free swim is a big part of our summer camps!
Camper safety is the #1 priority of our camp. To ensure that each camper is ready to use the pool, we have partnered together with our clubs to ensure that proper pool safety measures are followed and campers can swim safely in each part of the pool.
Below you will be able to preview the pool swim test requirements that all campers will take on the first day of their registered camp week.
The swim test will also be administered to members of the club swim and dive teams regardless of their participation on the team.
The lifeguarding staff conducts the swim test and informs our Camp Director of the outcome.
ProsToYou staff is not responsible for the pass or fail of your campers swim abilities and must default to the call of the pool staffing
CAMPERS MUST MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SWIM TEST REQUIREMENTS:1. Swim one length of the pool without stopping. Can be any stroke except back stroke.
2. Tread in water for a minute (60 seconds)
Campers will repeat the swim test for each week of their registered camp.

For our younger campers, we aim to maintain a group ratio of approximately 8:1. For older campers the ratio is approximately 10:1.

Campers must be at least 4 years old by their first day of camp. In addition, all campers are expected to be fully potty-trained, meaning they are consistently able to recognize when they need to go to the bathroom and can complete toileting activities independently. We know that even potty-trained campers may occasionally have accidents, so families with younger campers and campers with a recent history of accidents are asked to pack an extra set of clothes just in case. If a camper has an accident during the camp day, ProsToYou staff will help the camper and encourage independence as much as possible, and a member of our Leadership Team will notify the camper’s primary caregiver.
